A scar is usually composed of fibrous tissue. Scars may be formed for many different reasons, including as a result of
infections, surgery, injuries, or inflammation of tissue. Scars may appear anywhere on the body, and the composition of a scar may vary. A scar may appear flat, lumpy, sunken, or colored.


Scars are visible marks from various causes, including
surgery, skin injury, burning or dermatological disease, and may impact the quality of life.

Types of Scars

Any Burn, injury, acne or other trauma such as surgery, can cause a scar.

The truth is the scar will never completely go away, BUT there are some methods that can help reduce it's size and appearance.

The Type of scars range from

Atrophic: Usually a result from chickenpox or ACNE. indented in the skin.

Flat: It will start raised but gradually flatten, and may become lighter or darker.

Keloids: Raised scars, they are thick and usually appear on les fatty areas of body. They may be some pain and itchiness.

Hypertrophic: Very similar to keloids, usually from a surgery, or incision.

What Should I Expect at my Consultation?

Our Team will ask a few questions regarding your scar. What is it from, how long has it been, have you tried anything to soften it etc. They will also go through your medical history. if the Scar allows it, they will take pictures with the "Visia Camera" to analyze it.

Once they got all the information, they will create a treatment plan for you.

When Will I See Results?

Results are typically noticeable after the first treatment; however, multiple treatments may be necessary in some instances.

Does it hurt?

Depending of the treatment recommended, We use a localized numbing cream to make the experience comfortable. We also offer Pro-nox. Pro-Nox™ is an FDA cleared analgesia that delivers 50% Nitrous Oxide and 50% Oxygen. Best known for its ability to safely and effectively ease pain, anxiety, and discomfort

What is Recovery Period for a Scar Treatment?

Recovery will also depend on the treatment recommended, the size and the location of the Scar/s.

How much does a Scar Revision in Phoenix?

Costs will vary depending on the number of treatments desired by the patient. Medical insurance does not currently cover the cost of this procedure, so you will be responsible for the total cost of the treatment. We accept payment by cash, major credit cards and financing CareCredit®.
