Dancing for one•n•ten
is one of the Phoenix area's signature charity fundraising events benefiting one•n•ten, an Arizona nonprofit that serves LGBTQ+ youth and young adults ages 11–24. The organization provides safe spaces, housing support, leadership development, mental health resources, and programs that promote self-acceptance and healthy life choices.
The event is modeled somewhat like Dancing with the Stars. Community leaders, business professionals, and local personalities are paired with professional dance instructors, then compete in a ballroom-style showcase while raising donations for one•n•ten's programs. Winners are determined by a combination of fundraising and performance.
